Dawn Shields - Album of the Year

Dawn Shields album is called “Legacy” and it took Grand Album at WPPI this year. 

Prepare to be moved! While we all try to evoke emotion with our photography, Dawn created this amazing album that sent chills down my spine and mesmerized everyone who witnessed this at WPPI.

Dawn created this album for herself, her sister and her brother to help them remember their beloved grandfather after she discovered the full details of his inmate past. An amazing story told in the shape of an album for a man she loved.

It may sound a little trashy, but it's guaranteed fun. The dress could be an old prom dress, homecoming dress, or gown that you want to remember forever.  You might find yourself in under a waterfall, covered in mud, sitting in a blown out building, or maybe slicing and dicing the dress into a billion pieces is more your style.
